Guilin (meaning "Forest of Sweet Osmanthus") is on the west bank of the Li river in South-Eastern China. The city and the surrounding area has long been renowned for its unique scenery which significantly influenced Chinese landscape painting.

I am currently based in Tuscany, Italy and Cairo, Egypt, having previously lived in the US, Netherlands and Britain.
